Aviator Snoopy was the first of the many parade variations of Snoopy. It appeared in the 1968 parade, and then was redesigned into Astronaut Snoopy from 1969-1978, then it was turned back into Aviator Snoopy from 1978 until 1982, and in 1985 the balloon returned holding a list containing names of good boys and girls. This was the last parade for that Snoopy, as it was finally retired in favor of Skating Snoopy.
Design[]
Snoopy has his hands pointing straight, and is wearing an Aviator's hat. This is pretty basic.
1985[]
In 1985, Aviator Snoopy was the 4th balloon (After Garfield and before Betty Boop) in that years parade, and was holding a list throughout the rainy and windy route. When the balloon reached Macy's Herald Square, the list opened up, showing the name of "Good Boys & Girls". However by the time the balloon left the store, the list fell off the balloon, and people had to pick the list up so it didn't injure anyone.
