Betty Boop is an animated character created by Max Fleischer and others for a 1930s cartoon series from Paramount Pictures, who was also featured in a comic strip distributed by King Features Syndicate. She is portrayed as a caricature of a Jazz Age flapper, and is regarded as one of the frist and most famous sex symbols in animation.
